Getting Around Boise

Public transportation in the Central Idaho region is very limited. Even in Boise you will need a car. Greyhound is your only public transportation option in the region, offering bus routes between several of the larger towns.

By Car

For travel within the southern part of the region, drivers can take I-84 from Boise and connect with U.S. Highway 93 to reach the town of Twin Falls. State Road 75 takes travelers through the center of the region to Ketchum and nearby Sun Valley. To access Grangeville and other towns along the western part of the region, it is best to take U.S. Highway 95, or State Road 55, which runs through McCall.

By Bus

Greyhound has bus routes between several regional towns, including Boise, McCall, and Twin Falls. The Greyhound Bus Station in Boise is located on 1212 West Bannock Street.
